Dublin, Georgia has a sister city all the way in Osaki, Japan? 🇯🇵

This special relationship began in 1998, thanks to YKK AP, a company with roots in both communities. Since then, hundreds of students and dignitaries have traveled between Dublin and Osaki, building lasting friendships and cultural connections across the globe. 🌍💚

🫰🏼This week, we’re excited to welcome a group of students from Osaki right here to Dublin! They were greeted this morning with a warm welcome at City Hall and are now off enjoying tours, local experiences, and everything that makes our community so special.

Today’s adventures included watching Dublin videos on Georgia’s biggest retractable movie screen at Historic Theatre Dublin, taking in local history at the MLK Monument Park, and making a stop by the Dublin Visitors Center for Georgia peanuts and Dublin Destination Guides (and a few Visit Savannah guides for their field trip on Saturday)…and that’s just the what we tagged along for. 🎥🌱
