The love month is approaching and here are Dublin GA’s top 10 ways to let Love shine. Encourage loved ones, paint it, love for your furbaby, romantic getaways, and support local businesses.

1. Swing Into It

Feel the love down to your toes as you are just a-swingin‘ into a goldmine of good times and top hits when legendary country artist John Anderson brings his country feeling’ to Theatre Dublin Thursday, January 31st at 7 PM. Standard tickets are $45 and you can purchase tickets HERE.

2. Art Work Makes the Heart Work

3. Make Memories With Daddy

Whirl the night away during the 13th Annual Dublin-Laurens Habitat For Humanity.Daddy Daughter Dance on Friday, February 9th at 6:30 PM at the Dubose Porter Center. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Classic Florist, The Olive Branch, and Tanners Service Center.

4. A Mother’s Love

Encourage your wee ones as they express their Irish spirit during St. Patricks Baby Erin Go Bragh Contest held on Saturday, February 23rd at Dublin High School Auditorium at 10 AM. Open to ages newborn to two for $40 per contestant. Deadline for applications is Monday, February 11th.

5. Lovely Young Ladies

Look straight into their eyes and shine bright during the St. Patrick’s Miss Emerald City Beauty Pageant on Saturday, February 23rd at 2 PM at Dublin High School Auditorium. Open to ages 3-19 and $40 per contestant. Deadline for entries is Monday, February 11th.

6. Plates Locals Love

Immerse yourself in Dublin’s culture through unique food and dining offerings. Fire up your imagination at Company Supply and try the Salmon Pontchartrain, named in Georgia Eats 2018 -2019 guide and selected for 100 Plates Locals Love.

7. Appreciation

Shop local, express your love and help support small businesses. From welcoming and attentive staff to its elegantly traditional offerings, Plum Alley takes upscale a step above with brands such as A La Cart, Cheryl Nash/Windridge, City Girl and many more. 8. Local Inn

Take your love to a time when “cotton was King” and living was gracious and easy to explore Historic Bellevue Walking tour and a night in history. The Page House Bed & Breakfast built in 1903 offers lodging, great hospitality and a hot breakfast of your choice served each morning. This beautiful Inn is located on historical Bellevue Avenue.

Dublin’s Visitor Information Center is located off exit 51 on I-16 and is open 7 days a week offering a host of travel tips, chalk drawing, Georgia Grown garden, a lending library and a park designated for small dogs and large dogs where your four-legged friend can romp in comfort!
