Hey y’all the New Year has begun and whether you take it slow or get up and go, these are our Top Ways to get movin’ and groovin’ in Dublin, GA!

Don your costumes and load the kids!  Saturday, January 12th at 9 AM head to the Dubose Porter Center for the Dublin Junior League Character Breakfast. You can get tickets for only $20 from Blush Boutique or Farmers State Bank in Dublin GA. Mom will be glad to jump up for this one!

2. B4 You Go Go

Grab your dobbers and head to Riverview Golf Course! The Dublin Laurens County Recreational Authority is holding a FREE Senior Bingo on January 17th at 10 AM.

3. Parade

Start movin’ your way to downtown! Dublin GA comes alive as they commemorate the history of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in the 2019 Annual MLK Parade on Saturday, January 19th at 12 PM.

4. Tea Time

Pinkies up for Winter Wonderland Tea Party! Saturday, January 19th at 11:30 AM at Shoppes on Bellevue for $15 per person. Limited seating so be sure to hurry and make your reservations today!

5. Get Movin’

Tails a’waggin for a day of beauty and fun on Saturday, January 19th at Dublin Theater 4th Annual Miss Paws for a Cause. Contact Lisa Foskey Clark at 478-272-5341. All proceeds go to the Dublin Laurens County Humane Society.

6. Music In The Air

Make your way to Downtown Dublin as it comes alive with the vivid sounds of an abridged version of The Barber of Seville during a live performance by the Atlanta Opera in historic Theatre Dublin starting Tuesday, January 22nd and 23rd at 11 AM for only $20 per ticket.

7. With Inspiration

Be influenced by Early Clover & The Soul Drifters, Saturday, January 26th at 7:30 PM at Theater Dublin. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Miller’s Cafe and Linda’s Emporium at the Dublin Mall.

8. Toe Tapping

Toe tap your way into a goldmine of good times and top hits when legendary country artist John Anderson brings his country feeling’ to Theatre Dublin Thursday, January 31st at 7 PM. Standard tickets are $45 and you can purchase tickets HERE.

9. Artistic Movements

Learn the art of pasta making, the craftsmanship behind the presentation, and the joy of divine dessert preparation as Maria gives tips, tools, and secrets during a cooking class designed for any skill level at Dublin Farm on Tuesday, February 5th at 5:30 PM. Cost for the class is $65 per person.

10. Groovin’

Practice makes perfect dad!  Warm up your dance moves for a night full of fun and memories during the 14th Annual Dublin-Laurens Habitat For Humanity 2019 Daddy Daughter Dance on Friday, February 8th at 6:30 PM at the Dubose Porter Center. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Classic Florist, The Olive Branch, and Tanners Service Center.

11. Green Power

Power up with fresh veggies as toppings on our favorite Brian’s Subs! Delight your taste buds with freshly sliced meat and cheese, sandwiched in your choice of bread. This is a sure way to give you some get up and go power!

12. Dive Into Deals

Brighten up your child’s closet this season with affordable and trendy outfits from Lollipops and Lullabies! Possibilities are endless with so many pieces that can be worn many different ways!

13. To Go

Bring home a little bit of your stay by shopping our souvenirs at the Dublin Visitors Center.  From postcards and tee shirts, St. Patrick’s Day attire,  to hand-painted magnets and locally made, Georgia Grown products, we have something for everyone!

14. Slowly

Wait with anticipation as the wee ones express their Irish spirit during St. Patricks Baby Erin Go Bragh Contest held on Saturday, February 23rd at Dublin High School Auditorium at 10 AM. Open to ages newborn to two for $40 per contestant. Deadline for applications is Monday, February 11th.

15. Across The Stage

Let that Irish beauty shine during the St. Patrick’s Miss Emerald City Beauty Pageant on Saturday, February 23rd at 2 PM at Dublin High School Auditorium. Open to ages 3-19 and $40 per contestant. Deadline for entries is Monday, February 11th.
