We’re counting down to New Year’s Eve…. preparing our locals and visitors to start the New Year off with a bang. So, raise a glass as we sing, ” Auld Lang Syne” in Dublin, Georgia.

1. Spruce Up

Spiff up your look for the New Year. Downtown Dublin offers an array of cute little boutiques that will have you all decked out in dazzling new outfits, jewelry, shoes and accessories. If you’re like me and not up to date on the trends, ask any of the super friendly staff in the Downtown Shops and they’ll have you leaving, making a fashion statement!

2. New Year’s Eve Toast

Toast your loved one with a five course fine Italian dining experience New Years Eve Feast at Dublin Farm’s Ristorante da Maria. Live entertainment by George Martini will have your hearts ringing in the New Year on Tuesday, December 31st at 7 PM.

3. New Year’s Double Feature

Take an adventure with your best friend gang and plummet into discovery on the big screen at Martin Movie House for a star packed double feature showing of The Goonies New Years Eve Family Experience for $15 starting in the Dublin Carnegie at 4:30 PM. The show starts at 6 PM and you can purchase a movie ticket for only $5.

Steal a kiss from your sweetheart during The Great Gatsby Roaring 20’s Movie Experience at 8:30 PM. Purchase a movie ticket for $5 or steal the scene with a full movie experience for $15.

5. Shamrock Drop

Raise your glass and revel in the best selection of food, drink, and entertainment beneath the marquee of Theatre Dublin! A DJ will be spinning your favorites and the hottest hits to get you dancing into the New Year in Downtown Dublin during the New Years Eve Shamrock Drop on Tuesday, December 31st at 8 PM until Wednesday, January 1st at 12 PM.

6. Cuisine & Live Music

Ring in the New Year at Dublin Country Club featuring live music and fantastic cuisine. The party starts at 8 PM on Tuesday, December 31st so gather around the table with your loved ones and sing till midnight for $60 per person. As a destination veteran Miriam joined Visit Dublin GA in 2015. She oversees Dublin Visitors Center operations & staff and Dublin and Laurens County’s marketing communications while leading strategic initiatives to maintain and strengthen the tourism industry in Dublin. Her favorite work hobbies include making good old fashioned paper lists (plural), reminding staff to take their breaks (they sometimes listen), quality checking local eats (she’ll quickly suggest goat curry or tongue tacos), and building relationships which become links in partnership across the state, boosting an economic engine for the Laurens County community.
