3. Green Up For St. Patrick’s

Show that Irish pride during Green Up For St. Patrick’s! Official St. Patrick’s bows in small, medium, and large are available for $5, $10, and $15 at TLC Casa Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM from February 15th through March 17th. Bows can be ordered by calling 478-275-8100.

A true pot of gold awaits discovery during this workshop at Smith’s Jeweler’s on February 21st. The glitter sparkles from 4 PM to 7 PM with free admission for all.

6. Baby Erin Go Bragh

Be charmed as the wee ones express their Irish spirit Saturday, February 23rd during St. Patrick’s Baby Erin Go Bragh Contest at Dublin High School Auditorium at 10 AM.  Spectator admission is a wee $5 and children under 3 watch free.

7. Miss Emerald City Pageant

Irish beauty shines during St. Patrick’s Miss Emerald City Beauty Pageant on Saturday, February 23rd at 2 PM at Dublin High School Auditorium. Be dazzled with admission at only $5 and children under 3 see for free.

8. Pig in the Park BBQ Championship

Grab your lawn chairs as Downtown Dublin spices things up with live musical performances, food vendors, and rides for the kids during St. Patrick’s Pig in the Park BBQ Championship at Market on Madison from 6 PM-12 AM on Friday, March 1st. The competition heats up as the BBQ Championship continues on Saturday, March 2nd from 9 AM to 3 PM as teams compete for bragging rights and cash prizes.

9. Clean & Green Golf Tournament

Take a whack and with a bit of luck you may just win big during Keep Dublin-Laurens Beautiful’s St. Patrick’s Clean & Green Golf Tournament on Saturday, March 2nd beginning at 8:30 AM at Riverview Golf Course. $200 per team and no admission fee for spectators.

10. St. Pawtrick’s Pet Costume Contest

Even our furever family gets into the Irish spirit during St. Patrick’s Pet Costume Contest. Bring your #ExploreGeorgiaPup in costume on Saturday, March 2nd to Bicentennial Plaza located at 314 Academy Avenue in Downtown Dublin at 10 AM. Dogs will be judged on tricks, costumes, & more. $10 entry fee. Free for spectators.

11. St. Patrick’s Kite Flying Jamboree

Bring your favorite kite as the luck of the Irish blows in steady breezes for St. Patrick’s Festival Kite Flying Jamboree at Springdale Baptist Church on Saturday, March 2nd from 1 PM to 4 PM. The winds of winning will grace a bubble blowing contest for the wee ones up to age 4. Take flight with free admission and snacks for donation.

12. March Musicale

Whisk away all your cares as Dublin-Laurens Arts Council presents March Musicale on Sunday, March 3rd at Henry Memorial First Presbyterian Church at 2 PM. With free admission, you will be swept away as classically trained local musicians and vocalists present Irish favorites & classical music.

13. Littlest Leprechaun Contest

Little Irish personalities will be shinin’ through during Littlest Leprechaun Contest at Theatre Dublin on Tuesday, March 5th at 6 PM. Delight in creative costumes and clever characters of wee lads and lassies with admission at $5 for adults and children 3-12 $3. Enter as a contestant for $15.

14. Canasta, Bridge, & Mahjong Tournament

Show off your luck of the Irish at cards during St. Patrick’s Canasta, Bridge, and Mahjong Tournament on Tuesday, March 5th at Moore Station Village. Play begins at 7 PM with check-in at 6 PM. $25 per person.

15. St. Patrick’s Invitational Band Festival

Your heart will sing like an Irishman during the St. Patrick’s Invitational Band Festival on Thursday, March 7th at 5 PM and Friday, March 8th at 9 PM at the West Laurens High School Gym. Over 20 bands will flock to Dexter in a St. Patrick’s celebration of all things music. Free admission.

16. Easter Seals/Century 21 Durden & Kornegay Golf Classic

Score a pot of gold during Easter Seals – Century 21 Golf Classic! This 4-Person Team Scramble tees off at 1 PM on Saturday, March 8th at Dublin Country Club. Get into the swing with a scrumptious lunch by Deano’s Italian beginning at 11 AM.

17. Irish Balloon Fest

Watch as color and shapes light the skies above Dublin as a multitude of hot air balloons float in a race to the finish in a celebration of St. Patrick’s Day during the St. Patrick’s Balloon Fest & Glow. Light up your weekend starting on the afternoon of Friday, March 8th as balloons take to the air at Southern Pines Regional Park located at 575 Southern Pines Road. Lie the blankets down for a free outdoor showing of the movie UP! The fun takes off again on Saturday, March 9th with a morning launch and the Glow from sunset at around 6:30 PM and live music from Free Spirits Orchestra performing from 5:15 PM to 8:15 PM at Southern Pines Regional Park. 19. Shamrock Your Ride

The one time a year when “Go Blue” means going green! Make your mark as Morris Bank decks out car windows with official vinyl shamrocks during Shamrock Your Ride. Purchase your decal at either Morris Bank locations during the St. Patrick’s Festival or get the personal touch at Steak ‘n Shake of Dublin located at 1624 Veterans Boulevard from 11 AM – 2 PM on Saturday, March 9th. Cost $9 per shamrock, and proceeds benefit Morris Bank Community Foundation.

20. St. Patrick’s Library Book Sale

Find a world of new adventures for everyone during Dublin-Laurens County Library’s St. Patrick’s Used Book Sale on Saturday, March 9th. Open 10 AM to 2 PM, this sale combines the best of classics, new releases, and old favorites with awesome prices! Admission is free.

21. Tuckered Out?

After a full day of Dublin shenanigans, tuck yourself into bed at Dublin Farm, where you’ll awaken refreshed and ready to jump back into the festivities! Cozy room and a full breakfast handcrafted by Maria, anyone?

22. Leprechaun Contest

Cheer on our lads and lassies as they compete for the gold disguising themselves as the ultimate leprechaun during Leadership Dublin-Laurens Leprechaun Contest Tuesday, March 12th at Theatre Dublin at 7 PM. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for 12-3 years old, and 3 and under are free. Purchase tickets at Theatre Dublin at the door.

23. St. Patrick’s Pancake Supper

Prepare to feed your Irish spirit during the Exchange Club of Dublin’s most filling tradition. Featuring all you can eat pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, milk, orange juice, and a variety flavored syrups the St. Patrick’s Patrick’s Pancake Supper is held Thursday, March 14th from 4 PM to 8 PM at Dublin Middle School. Each batch of homemade pancakes is cooked fresh on a huge handmade griddle, and served up piping hot. Tickets are $7 each in advance or $9 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at Dublin Visitors Center located at 102 Travel Center Blvd.

24. Time of Your Life St. Patrick’s Gala

Get a wiggle on to the 20’s Themed Semi Formal St. Patrick’s Gala that’s gonna be the cat’s meow Friday, March 15th at 6:30 PM at Ice House Event Venue! Live music will be swinging from Band of Gold. Bring pockets of cash for the bar and indulge in heavy hors d’oeuvres! Cost at the door is $35 single and $50 a couple. Tickets are also included in Order of Shillelagh & Blarney Stone Memberships. Gear up for Dublin’s Annual St. Patrick’s Leprechaun Road Race featuring a 1K Fun Run/Walk, 5K, and 10K where the whole family can run to support local charities on Saturday, March 16th at 8 AM. All events start and finish at Dublin High School Old Gymnasium located across from Dublin Mall. Get those Irish eyes smiling and feet moving in support of Heart Of Georgia Fellowship Of Christian Athletes in the race to crown the fastest leprechaun! 27. Arts & Crafts Festival

Explore the best of Downtown Dublin during the St. Patricks Arts & Crafts Festival on Saturday, March 16th from 9 AM to 6 PM as live music, performers, artisans, and food take center stage at Market on Madison and Bicentennial Plaza for a jig of epic proportions! Featuring live entertainment and music, a children’s petting zoo, beautiful landscaping, a huge dining pavilion and food court, guest information booths, and thousands of uniquely handcrafted treasures from across the Southeast, the Dublin St. Patrick’s Arts & Crafts Festival promises families a lively time in historic Downtown Dublin, Georgia. Get those Irish eyes smiling as hundreds of bright green floats take to Jackson Street and Bellevue Avenue for the ultimate celebration of Irish pride. 29. Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner

Eat like an Irishman during the 21st Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. Dig into corned beef and cabbage on March 16th from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church located at 305 W. Gaines Street. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 1559 US 441 Dublin, Ga or at the First United Methodist Church for $9.00 adult or $5.00 children. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $10.00 adult.

30. St. Patrick’s Tennis Tournament

33. St. Patrick’s Gospel Sing

Join voices in unity during the St. Patrick’s Gospel Sing featuring Hand In Hand. Touring the southeast for over 35 years, Hand In Hand stops at Dublin Church Of God located at 2059 Claxton Dairy Road on Saturday, March 16th at 6:30 PM. Doors open at 5:30 PM. Tickets are $10 donation at the door, & under 10 are free.

34. Super Sunday Brunch

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and eat like an Irishman with the whole family as Super Sunday Brunch dishes up all your favorite brunch foods Sunday, March 17th from 11 AM until 1:30 PM at Dublin Country Club. Down a few mimosas or open your eyes with a fresh coffee or two!

Make B-I-N-G-O your middle name-O during Shamrock Charity Bingo on Thursday, March 21st at First Baptist Church Family Life Center located at 108 Maiden Lane from 6 PM-9PM.

36. Art With a Heart

Immerse yourself in colors, light and texture during Dublin’s largest art exhibit showcasing artist Rhonda Dixon’s student’s artwork spanning the last 40 years.This free two-day show at Liberty Baptist Church begins Friday, March 22nd from 5 PM to 8 PM and Saturday, March 23rd from 10 AM until 5 PM with a full day of fun, family, and friends.

37. St. Patrick’s Slam Golf Tourney

Drive in a good time during the St. Patrick’s Slam Golf Tourney hosted by Green Acres Golf Club Saturday, March 23rd from 10 AM to 4 PM. Ride in on the spring breeze for the annual Blessing of the Bikes Saturday, March 23rd 10 AM until 2 PM at Southern Pines Recreation Park. This event is a meet and greet for riders of all ages and includes a prayer for safety and lunch sponsored by the Christian Motorcyclists Association.
