Bonus Firearms Deer Hunting At Beaverdam WMA
November 4, 2021 - November 6, 2021
Take aim during bonus firearms deer hunting of either sex at Beaverdam Wildlife Management Area November 4th through November 6th.
BONUS DEER HUNTS: No more than two (2) deer may be killed unless otherwise noted in area listing. On areas with antler restrictions in effect, no more than one (1) of the two (2) deer may be an antlered buck. Deer killed are not to be recorded on your deer harvest record or reported in Georgia Game Check. Deer are to be taken on day of kill to the check station where agency staff will tag the deer. Deer can be brought to the check station whole, field dressed, or quartered.
Firearms Deer Hunting Beaverdam WMA Details
- This is a bonus hunt. For managed hunts, hunters must check-in prior to hunting. Hunters may check-in starting at noon one day prior to the hunt, anytime during the hunt, or online at gooutdoorsgeorgia.com. Check-in is required once for each check-in period.
- All game harvested at a check-in hunt must be checked-out at the check station on the day of the harvest and should not be recorded on your Harvest Record or reported through Georgia Game Check.
- Legal hours for deer hunting are 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sundown.
- Hunters must wear as an outer garment at least 500 inches of visible hunter orange above the waist.

Any person, age 16 and older, entering any WMA or PFA must possess a valid license to hunt or fish or a Lands Pass (exclusions apply). Camping At Beaverdam WMA
Pitch your tent at Beaverdam WMA during deer hunting at Beaverdam WMA!
All camps shall be in designated campgrounds unless otherwise posted at the check station. Camping shall be limited to a period of time not to exceed 14 consecutive days. It is unlawful for any person to use any musical instruments, radios, televisions, generators or other noise making devices after 10:00 p.m. or before 7:00 a.m. in such a manner that such devices may be heard by other WMA visitors. Camping or driving motor vehicles on managed wildlife openings is prohibited. Carving, cutting, chopping or damaging of live trees is prohibited. Loaded firearms are prohibited in camping areas, except that any person possessing a Weapons Carry License that is valid in this state may carry such firearm except where prohibited by law. Campers are responsible for their own trash. No person shall unreasonably disturb or annoy others through abrasive, insulting, or threatening words or actions, or disobey any lawful order of a law enforcement official, or act in a manner resulting in a breach of the peace.
