A spacious auditorium is the central gathering space of the facility and can be used for events such as birthday parties, baby showers, receptions and more. An option to arrange for theatre style seating makes this the perfect venue for small plays or performances. Several smaller rooms line the surrounding halls making it ideal for breakouts, entertaining children of different ages, or hosting groups. Offices and multiple sets of men’s and ladies restrooms lend to the functionality of this space.

First African Baptist Church

First African Baptist Church was established in 1867 and is the oldest African American church in the City of Dublin GA. The current building was built in 1914 after the original wooden church was torn down. A very specific point of historical interest is that at the location of the First African Baptist Church April 17th 1944, a 15 year old Martin Luther King Jr. delivered the very first of many speeches to come. Dublin GA is one of the 28 attractions on Georgia’s Footsteps of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Trail.
