Get some tips for starting your fall garden! Thursday, September 27th at 5:30 PM the Laurens County Library will hold a Fall Vegetable Gardening Progam with J Raymond Joyce that will arrive at 5 PM for Q&A.

3. Dublin Farm

Brush up your #foodart culinary skills with Maria during her Cooking Class October 1st at 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM at Dublin Farm. Take all the work out and savor a 5-course meal every Friday and Saturday night!

4. Theatre Dublin

Engage in an evening of song and comedy Sunday, September 30th at 3 PM as Dublin Laurens Arts Council presents An Afternoon With Mark Twain at Theatre Dublin. Featuring actor and historian Kurt Sutton find yourself in the setting of Samuel Clemens’ parlor as Sutton shares Mark Twain’s hilarious witticism, wisdom.

Pick your table freshness at Market on Madison farmers market Saturday, September 29th at 7:30 AM until 12:30 PM. Select from a vast array of of local and organic produce as well as artisan foods, farm- raised eggs, meat, raw honey and preserves. Oh, and don’t forget the peppers to spice up any fall meal.

  • Now through October 5th: Archery Deer Hunting at River Bend WMA
  • Now through September 28th: Firearms Adult-Child Deer Hunting at Beaverdam WMA
  • October 6th & October 7th: Firearms Wheelchair Hunting At River Bend WMA

Hunts are allowed one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset.

9. Yuletide Glow

This one needs no fancy title. We missed it in the Spring, but Dublin Civitan Club loves us (well, not US specifically) so much, they’ve brought Dublin Fall Fair back! From 6:00 PM-10:00 PM on Tuesday, October 16th through Saturday, October 20th, it’s time for Dublin to get it’s Fall Fair on! Fair food, the midway, the rides…they’ll allllll be there!

12. First Friday Fall Fest

Music and fall festival frolicking kicks off First Friday, October 5th at 7 PM at the Market on Madison followed by an outside viewing of the Disney classic family friendly Halloween movie Hocus Pocus! Ricky’s Snak Shack will serve you a warm funnel cake and slides and bouncies for the kids. Bring your costumes, your trick-or-treat baskets, and your lawn chair and blanket for a fun night.

13. Taco Heaven

Did we mention All You Can Eat tacos…at La Joya?! Yes, you read that right! In celebration of
their 7th anniversary our favorite little taco shop on the corner is having an all you can eat taco bar and mariachi band on Saturday, September 29th from 12 PM to 8 PM.

14. Masked Ball

Mask yourself in mystery and drape yourself in decadence as Page House B & B waltzes with a Famous Couple Theme during The Masquerade Ball on Saturday, October 27th.
