Thursday, August 22nd 2019 Dublin, GA- Nationally recognized Atlanta artist, Corey Barksdale returned to Dublin, GA this week with a mission to utilize his gift of art with a mural honoring armed forces. Visit Dublin GA began the search earlier this year for the perfect mural location, with the call being answered promptly by Mayor Phil Best of Premier Properties of Dublin. Corey Barksdale spent an entire morning and afternoon in Dublin this week completing painting the surface wall. Mayor Best said “Very grateful and excited that Corey Barksdale and Visit Dublin GA chose our office to honor our Veterans. Come by and check it out!”

Corey Barksdale, no stranger to Dublin has previously been commissioned to design and paint both a mural and sculpture at Dublin GA’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Monument Park.

The colorful mural now proudly adorns an outside wall of the Premier Properties offices located at 608 Bellevue Avenue, with convenient public access. Just steps from Downtown Dublin, the mural honoring armed forces will attract visitors serving as a photo opportunity backdrop for young and old and is a vibrant addition to Dublin’s growing art scene.
