1. Shamrocks on Main

DYK: The lucky leprechauns of the Dublin GA St. Patrick’s Committee repaints the streets with shamrocks every year. Accredited as a Main Street City in 1989, we hope you have a Shamrockin’ good time on Downtown Dublin GA‘s own Main Street. The Georgia Main Street Program began in 1980 as one of the original pilot state coordinating programs of the National Main Street Initiative launched by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The program launched with five local communities and has grown to serve 100+ communities statewide. 

2. Let’s Get Festive

When we do St. Patrick’s in Dublin GA, it’s the whole shebang! You’ll have all your friends green with envy when you festoon yourself in the most mirthful merch from the Visitors Center right off I-16 at exit 51. Extra luck when you find your four-leaf clover in our Georgia Grown garden!

6. Leprechaun Road Race

Gear up for Dublin GA’s Annual St. Patrick’s Leprechaun Road Race featuring a 1K Fun Run/Walk, 5K, and 10K where the whole family can run to support Heart Of Georgia Fellowship Of Christian Athletes on Super Saturday, March 18th at 8 AM. All events start and finish at Dublin High School’s Old Gymnasium. Registry is only $20, and you can do that HERE!

7. Shamrock Smash Pickleball Tournament

Pull out your paddles for the St. Patrick’s Shamrock Smash Pickleball Tournament on Super Saturday, March 18th and Sunday, March 19th from 8 AM to 5 PM at Southern Pines Regional Park. Games start at 8 AM both days. Players can register at HERE!

8. Annual St. Patrick’s Tennis Tournament

The ball is in your court during the St. Patrick’s Festival Tennis Tournament on March 18th and 19th at Dublin High School Courts located at 1127 Hillcrest Parkway. Matches start at 9 AM for singles, 12:30 PM for doubles, and 2:30 PM for mixed. Registration is $30 per event per person and $50 for two events per person. Registration form HERE

9. Paddy Like A Rockstar

Lively night out? Shake the shamrocks off your skin on Saltwater Fishery’s rooftop bar where the stars shine as bright as pot of gold. With live music, plenty of places to lounge, and easy breezy adult beverages, it’s the coolest place to gather with friends.

10. Take a Tour or Two

Walk, skip, or frolic your way through the streets of Dublin GA on one of our historic walking tours. Marvel at downtown’s finest on the Historic Downtown Dublin Walking Tour. Along the way, stop by one of the three Downtown Dublin Audio Tour boxes. Architecture buff? Venture down Historic Bellevue Avenue to experience Dublin GA ‘s most beautiful homes.

13. 1st Annual St. Patrick’s Cornhole Tournament

Toss your bean bags into the pot of gold! The 1st Annual St. Patrick’s Cornhole Tournament will be held at the Ice House, 213 S. Monroe Street on Super Saturday, March 18th, and benefits The Warriors Ranch. Fill out the registration form HERE or at 8 AM on game day! The tournament is from 10 AM through 4 PM with a cost of $30 in advance and $40 at the door.

14. Arts & Crafts Festival

Explore the best of Dublin GA during the St. Patricks Arts & Crafts Festival on Super Saturday, March 18th from 9 AM to 4 PM as live music, performers, artisans, and food take center stage at Market on Madison and Bicentennial Plaza for a jig of epic proportions! With free admission and an area devoted wholly to kiddie fun, bring the whole family!

15. St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Everyone’s a wee bit Irish in Dublin GA during the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown on Super Saturday, March 18th at 10:30 AM. Get those Irish eyes smiling as hundreds of bright green floats take to Jackson Street and Bellevue Avenue for the ultimate celebration of Irish pride. Be sure to wear your green and get ready to frolic with “Lucky”!

16. Annual Quilt Show

Gaze upon a rainbow array of colors and local talent at the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Quilt Show at First United Methodist Church located on 305 Gaines Street. Peruse handmade quilts and textiles from all over the county starting at 10 AM on Super Saturday, March 18th.

17. Irish Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner

Eat like an Irishman during the 25th Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council 11637. Dig in on Super Saturday, March 18th from 11:30 AM to 3 PM at First United Methodist Church. Tickets are $13 at the door or get advanced tickets at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and at the First United Methodist Church for $12 and $5 for children 13 and under. 

18. Music & Munchies ft. Featuring The Swingin’ Medallions

Do a jig or two while the family chows down on some tasty food during Music and Munchies on Super Saturday, March 18th with the gates opening at 6 PM at West Jackson Street in Downtown Dublin GA. Presented by Citizens Bank and Company Supply, The Swingin’ Medallions will supply the tunes to keep your Irish spirits high. Admission to groove and grub is $15 at the gate. Tickets are NONREFUNDABLE.

19. Super Sunday Brunch

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and eat like an Irishman with the whole family as Super Sunday Brunch dishes up all your favorite brunch foods Sunday, March 19th from 11 AM until 1 PM at Dublin Country Club. Down a few mimosas or open your eyes with a fresh cup of coffee!

20. Walk This Way

Take a wee walk to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Monument Park! On April 17, 1944, Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his first public speech at historic First African Baptist Church. A desire to inspire positive social change was planted in young Martin Luther King, Jr. that day in wee ol’ Dublin GA.
