Northview Cemetery

With its imposing marble mausoleum, moss-draped oaks, and storied history, Northview Cemetery in Dublin GA offers a rich glimpse into Dublin and the Old South. Heroes, whether from the battlefield, medical field, politics, or simply life, are entombed in here in the center of Dublin GA.

History

Established in 1902, Northview Cemetery holds the history of Dublin and Laurens County. Civil War soldiers, such as Captain B. Hardy Smith, and fighters from the Great World Wars rest here, alongside noted leaders and politicians.

Many families of note rest in Northview’s mausoleum, including the Pages, Garretts, Phillips, Robinsons, Adams, Powels, and Brantleys. The effort to build the mausoleum was led by Frank Corker, who also built Dublin’s Skyscraper downtown. The mauseleum took almost 2 years and $30,000 to build. Crafted of marble and masonry, 200 people rest here on the hill overlooking the cemetery.
