Page House Bed & Breakfast

Page House Bed & Breakfast

Step back to 1903 when TL Griner began construction Page House, an 11-room, 7,000 sq. ft. Classic Greek Revival home often described as one of the grandest homes south of Atlanta. The House featured Tiffany-style stained-glass windows, the only private home in this area of the state with a ballroom, 12-foot ceilings, interior Ionic columns, and picture moldings sealed with silver then brushed with gold, and much more.

Travel to a time when “cotton was king” and living was gracious and easy. Picture yourself among the guests that often promenaded around the block and later gathered in the ballroom of the Page House to enjoy dancing and musical performances. Such was the way of life for the residents of homes on Bellevue Avenue. Locals refer to these homes on “Millionaire’s Row” as the “mansions that cotton built.”

A Bygone Era Revived

This classic Greek Revival mansion was built in 1903 and has been impeccably restored and furnished, offering a glimpse into life in the Old South. Featuring five spacious themed rooms and two suites, The Page House  is located four blocks from downtown and the area’s best shopping, eateries, and historic sites. A hot breakfast of your choice is served each morning along with fresh coffee. The Page House’s menu offers gracious choices such as:

THE PAGE HOUSE – Old-fashioned oats made fresh to order, topped with cinnamon & brown sugar. Served with raisins & fresh fruit.

THE BELLEVUE – Two eggs cooked to order, fresh, thick-cut bacon, choice of creamy southern-style grits, or crispy seasoned home fries served with your choice of fresh baked biscuit, toast, english muffin, or toasted baguette.

EGGS BENEDICT – Two farm fresh eggs poached to your liking, served on layered farmers ham & toasted english muffin topped with mildly zesty hollandaise. This tasty dish is served with your choice of grits, home fries or fresh fruit.
